Nottinghams Restaurant, right in the heart of Big Bear Village, offers a handful of dining rooms adorned with vintage furnishings and antiques that make a great restaurant experience for families, friends and large gatherings. Those staying at Big Bear Frontier Cabins are merely a half mile from this fine restaurant and tavern.
Family & Friends Dining
For those in search of a more elegant dining experience, the Nottingham Room located just beyond the front entrance, is equipped with a cozy fireplace, quaint wooden tables, stained glass windows straight out of Sherwood Forest, and a North Tonawanda Band Organ circa 1920 in superb condition. Each Thursday, martini night creates a sophisticated, yet unassuming atmosphere.
Further along, Little John's Pub is just the place for fun family outing. Every Tuesday is Family night, so kids eat free! The youngsters also enjoy the comical gaggle of dwarf-like creatures that border the wall. Located just above the back bar, a dark brown wooden canoe from the 1930's lingers proudly.
Conferences & Group Gatherings
Upstairs is the Sherwood Banquet Room for those attending large banquets or business retreats. The stairway is a remarkable replica of a 1920's design by Greene & Greene. Just across from the Sherwood Room is where the entertainment makes way at the Friar Tuck's Tavern. On select Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays there's anything from ping pong tournaments to live country or jazz music to comedy and improv.
On the Menu
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served, along with a vast selection of wines, top shelf liquors and fine brews. A few choice dinner entrees include, but are not limited to: Chicken Marsala, Southwest Salmon Bake, Veggie Pasta, Marinated Tri-Tip, Fettuccini Alfredo and a series of delectable buffets.
Overall, Nottinghams Restaurant is a great spot for Big Bear Frontier guests; whether traveling with family, friends or on business.
